Belgium to France - Dunkirk

French troops invaded Dunkirk in 1558 and burned the original church down. Yes, Dunkirk was part of Flanders and the Spanish Netherlands but now is part of France. The Saint-Eloi church was rebuilt following that invasion leaving the remains of the original church between the new church and the old tower.
